Game Select

Taking insperation from electronic games of the 70's & 80's the core concept is simple, press the buttons as they light up. Simple enough for a child to play, challenging enough to keep an adult entertained. The modern twist is that unlike classic electronic games the buttons are RGB.

The title game is ZAPP with other games avaliable to play by pressing the game select buttons. Each button has the name of the game it starts lit above it. When a game is being played the game select buttons will not be lit but the name of the current game being played will.

The four main games are:

BASH MIND SPIN ZAPP

Alternatively just press any of the playing buttons to start the title game, ZAPP.

Each game is differnt but the general rule is if the button is blue, green or yellow then press it.

ZAPP

Score points by pressing as many blue, Green & Yellow buttons as possible before time runs out. The Red buttons are best avoided as they will cost you points and reduce your accuracy.

ColourPoints
blue10
green25
yellow50
red-10

Get 80% or more of the blue buttons and you will then progress to the next round. Be quick though as the buttons soon change and you don't want to miss any points.

Sometimes you will get two for the price of one, so make sure that all of the blue buttons are cleared. Each round gets more difficult as the the time you have to clear all of the blue buttons decreases.

Green and Yellow are bonus buttons which award extra points. These are optional and disappear once all the blue buttons have gone. If you want the high score then you will need these, but don't get too distracted by them as to finish first, first you have to finish.

Pro Tip - use both hands, but always remember, too many cooks spoil the broth!

BASH

How fast are your fingers? This reaction game is for upto 8 players. As soon as your button goes green press it. The winner's button will go blue and the display will show the winning time. If you press the button too soon it will go red and you will be eliminated from that round. You snooze, you loose!

MIND

The red, green, blue & yellow buttons will play a pattern which then needs to be repeated. With each new round there is another colour added to the sequence, with the added complication that the patterns will change from round to round. This game is far more difficult than it sounds, after playing this you will be asking where is my mind!

SPIN

Press the blue or cyan button as it spins round. This one starts off easy but the more times you press the button the faster the button spins. Each time you sucessfully press the button it will change colour and rotate in the oposite direction. If you press any button which is not blue or cyan then for you my friend I'm afraid the game is over!
